![]() ![]() The price increase, coupled with a release of a months-old property that did not deliver on the insane expectations/hype of a new Star Wars movie, sealed the pinball division's fate IMO. Wizard Blocks never had a chance.Ī thousand times this!!!! People can shit on the Pin2k games that were produced, but you cannot deny that pinball STILL hasn't advanced past what these guys accomplished 14 years ago! Wizard Blocks most likely would have been the game that cemented the Pin2k format, and understand that the intentions(according to Gomez) was that they were going to produce Pin2k games and "classic" DMD games. Consumer sales were never even considered. Everything was driven by Dealers/Operators back then. Remember - Pinball Circus was cancelled because it cost $300/unit more to make than a conventional pin. All they had to do was release SW:E1 with a higher price and the rest was history. My opinion is that Williams was planning to close down Pinball (to make slot machines) and when the success of RFM hit, got worried that their plans to show it as a loosing division was being thwarted. Wizard Blocks had one mode partially programmed for it so the game is playable to a point but not anything close to a complete game. The SW:E1 team were working in parallel with the RFM team for a lot of the time. About 4 or 5 whitewoods were created for Wizard Blocks and judging from the last one, it was close to being done as far as playfield layout was concerned. It's simply no comparison.Īs I know it, that's what happened. I put $4 in a RFM a couple of days ago and didn't touch the SWEP1. Yes SWEP1 is a movie license but in this case it sold less and was played less than an unlicensed theme. Solstice has been growing strong for many years and we plan to have many more to come.In my opinion they should have put Lawlor to work on Wizard Blocks immediately after Revenge From Mars. In 2010 we teamed up with a marketing company who suggested that we change the name. Solstice Publishing was started in March 2008 under another name. On Mars he hopes to find the proof his parents were seeking, the evidence that will topple an empire and exact revenge for the murder of those he loved. His mission to destroy Supreme Leader Johnson will take him all the way to the Martian deserts surrounding the new Mars colony. When Annie is murdered for her outspoken views, Henry’s life is set on a course of revenge and hatred. He meets the love of his life, Annie Pearl, who shares his hatred of the oppression that has created a world of extreme wealth and extreme poverty. After six years of captivity he manages to escape and begin a life on the run. Captured by fanatics himself, Henry is sent to a Church orphanage to be reprogrammed. Ten year old Henry watched as his parents were deemed heretics and violently murdered by a death squad of Church fanatics. Henry Thomas’ parents were on a mission to uncover evidence that would undermine the doctrine that is the foundation of the Church of Enlightenment. With both the power of the church and the government in his hands, nothing stands between Jeremiah and world domination. The political influence of the Church extended into the political arena where Jeremiah Johnson was also elected Supreme Leader of the World. Fueled by a desire to control the world, Jeremiah Johnson infiltrated himself into the mega-churches and led a campaign of suppression and subversion that resulted in one Church of Enlightenment, with himself as leader. In the future, Earth is controlled by one man, Supreme Leader Jeremiah Johnson. Copy and paste this code into your site to embed
